Description:Beaver Steel, a leading metal fabrication company
based in Carnegie, PA, is seeking a diligent and customer-focused
individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer
inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional support to
ensure customer satisfaction. This role will primarily involve
office and administrative tasks, including communication via email,
the ERP system (JobBoss), and phone calls with customers.Job
Description:The Customer Service Representative will be accountable
for the management and coordination of Sales Administrative
functions including Order Entry, Quoting, Customer Discovery,
Account Management, Issue Resolution, Part Tracking, Report
Generation, Profitability Analysis, and Strategic Inventory
Management.The Customer Service Representative will report to the
CM Sales Manager and work closely with other Sales, Engineering,
Production, and Supply Chain Department
members.Responsibilities:Accurate and prompt Order Entry of all
quality Bookings.Identification and resolution of all
non-authorized Bookings (No low-quality POs in system).Learn and
understand Quoting function in JobBoss; bring all quoting functions
in-department.Help with development of department Standard
Operating Procedures.Manage day-to-day customer communication
regarding order inquires, delivery status, etc.Assist with
development of customer and/or software related projects including
KnowledgeSync, Synergy, UniPoint, ASN, EDI, etc.Facilitate phone
conversations and onsite visits with customers. Ask great questions
to understand customer's needs and put us in position to win more
quality business.Become fluent in understanding technical drawings,
steel materials, and basic production work centers to better
understand our company-product fit.Requirements:Communication
skills to facilitate customer needs through working with other
departmentsStrong attend to detailProficient in Microsoft Excel,
Outlook, and all other Office Suite applicationsUnderstanding of
Manufacturing parts and drawings (or willingness to learn)Positive
