About the Organization: Minerva Dairy
For more than 130 Years, the Minerva Dairy Family has perfected the
ability to create unique ingredient cheeses and premium retail
butter. Currently owned and operated by the 4th & 5th generations
and training the 6th generation.
4th Generation: Phil Mueller
From 1976-2010, Phil ran the Minerva Dairy accomplishing growth and
creation of niche recipes. The recipes Phil created for cheese are

5th Generation: Adam Mueller and Venae Watts
The current owners, Venae and Adam, grew up in the business,
obsessing over butter and cheese, like the 4 generations before
them. While they have put their own spin on things, the process of
making butter and cheese hasn't changed. Likewise, they have set
the business up for success by raising 12 members of the 6th
generation.

responsible for having mechanical skills to operate butter
equipment, ensure recipe accuracy, GMP policy adherence, testing,
and quality of butter production. Process Tech I is responsible for
correct materials or tools procedures, and cleaning equipment and
work area.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma - or the
equivalent (for example, GED)
2+ Years experience working in a mechanical field
Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after
high school (for example, in agriculture or natural resources,
computer services, personal or culinary services, engineering
technologies, healthcare, construction trades, mechanic and repair
technologies, or precision production)Technical SkillsEquipment
Maintenance- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and
determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.Operation
