Volt is immediately hiring a Machine Operator (Core Blower Operator), in Erie, Pennsylvania 16502.

Job Title: Machine Operator (Core Blower Operator)

As a Machine Operator (Core Blower Operator) - you will be responsible for.

Job Description:
Practices safe work habits wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all tasks. Operates fabricating machines, such as cutoff saws, shears, rolls, brakes, presses, forming machines, spinning machines, and punch, that cut, shape, and bend metal plates, sheets, tubes, and structures. Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Positions stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.

Core Blower Operator Duties:
Safely operate core machines making cores to specifications.
Learn the function of the core machine so as to be able to report potential machine problems.
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions per process sheets, daily production schedules and communication pertaining to making a quality product in a timely manner.
Physically able to operate equipment and sustain a standard of quality and quantity in a safe manner.
Place cores in/on proper rack for storage.
Perform a daily safety inspection of the Lift Truck.
Other duties as assigned.


Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Must pass a Lift Truck Operator safety training course and maintain a current license.


Location: Erie, Pennsylvania 16502
Duration: 3 months contract
Pay: $16.92/hr. - $18.92/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
